NRCCTE Welcomes Visiting Scholar from Zhejiang University of Technology

Li Min, Ph.D., an associate professor in the college of educational science and technology at Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China, will be in residence as a visiting scholar at the NRCCTE from October 2012 to October 2013. A graduate of Beijing Normal University with a concentration in comparative education (Dr. Li’s CV – PDF), she is currently studying international career and technical education systems and training methods, particularly those of the United States and the United Kingdom. The NRCCTE has strong connections to international CTE research—commonly called vocational education and training (VET) outside the United States—and has previously hosted visiting scholars from Turkey, Indonesia, and Japan.

The NRCCTE held a welcome reception for Dr. Li on Wednesday, October 3, attended by faculty, staff, and administrators from the College of Education and Human Development.
